How can I stay informed about upcoming events?
You can stay informed by signing up for our newsletter. You can find it in the right hand column under "Subscribe by Email."
I am interested in being a speaker for one of your events. What must I do?
Send us an email with a link to an audio or video of a previous speaking engagement so that we can get a idea of your style, ability to teach, and capture an audience. Along with that, please send us a brief synopsis of any talks that you are interested in giving. Also include a short bio or testimony for us to review.
Please note that our conferences fill up very fast. If you would like to inquire about being a potential speaker at an upcoming event, please do so at least three months in advance. FYI: the speaker roster for the August conference is already full. Please inquire about our upcoming homeschooling conference that will take place in February of 2010.
My business or ministry would like to partner with Heart of the Matter Online. What should we do?
Please view the sponsor page for information on sponsoring the event. If you would like to provide items for the "gift bag" or giveaways, then simply email us with a photo, description, and inform us how you would like them distributed.
Post-conference FAQ
I purchased or won a ticket, but did not receive log in instructions.
Please check your spam or blocked folder for emails from conference@heartofthemattermagazine.com and conference@heartofthemattermagazine.com. If you do not see anything from us, please contact us so that we can verify that you were on the list and that we received your correct email address when you registered. To ensure that you receive all future correspondence from us, please add conference@heartofthemattermagazine.com to your email address book.
I attended the conference, where can I find the handouts?
Please email us, and we will send you the link to download all the handouts.
I missed some sessions, when will the audios be available to download?
The audios will be available on August 15th. Several of them need to be re-recorded so we cannot promise that they will all be available on that date. If you registered for the conference, you will receive an email with download instructions on August 15th. To ensure that you receive all future correspondence from us, please add conference@heartofthemattermagazine.com to your address.
I attended the conference, but didn't get to download all my freebies. What can I do?
Please email us, and we will send you the link to download all the items from the goodie bag.
Pre-conference FAQ
I just bought my ticket. Now what?
Immediately after purchasing your ticket via Paypal you will be given the option to "return to merchant." Click on that button so that you will be redirected to the registration page. You must submit your name and email address on that registration page and then confirm the subscription with Aweber, our host, in order to receive future correspondence from us. You must read the instructions on the PayPal confirmation page - do not glance at it and then close the page as it contains critical information regarding your tickets to the conference. You will receive an email a couple of days before the start of the conference with log in instructions. To listen live, you must log in at the scheduled times.

What is included in the freebie package?
Currently, the freebie package is valued at over $80 and growing! It includes a $30 downloadable package of ebooks from Currclick as well as goodies from several of our speakers.
I am not able to listen to all of the speakers live, what can I do?
You will be able to download audios and save them to your computer to listen to at your convenience. You may also purchase the audios on CD.
I will be out of town during the conference. If I register but cannot attend "live", will the conference seminars and goodies still be available to me?
Yes, you will still receive the conference goodies and the audios will be available for future download even if you can't attend the conference "live".
Can I share my ticket with a friend?
You may invite a friend over to your home while listening to the conference but you may not charge for admission or distribute the audios or free downloads. For full policy please see here: Policies
Will I need any special equipment?
The only thing that you will need are a pair of speakers connected to your computer! A headset is a wonderful option if you have noisy surroundings. You will be able to ask your questions and comment to the speakers through instant messaging.
I do not have the funds to attend. Can I apply to receive a sponsor ticket?
Yes! We do have tickets that have been sponsored for all of our events. No need to jump through hoops either, simply email us at: conference@heartofthemattermagazine.com and tell us why you would like to receive a sponsored ticket.
